DR. KENZIE TAYLOR
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Pelvic Floor Specialist
As a clinician who strives to meet patients where they are at in life and encompassing the role as a guide for maximizing potential, it was an easy decision for her to join the team at Empowered Physical Therapy.
While she is experienced in all orthopedic conditions, Kenzie has been drawn to specializing in Pelvic Floor Therapy because of its holistic and well rounded approach to our bodies ability to move freely. Her passion is integrating proper pelvic floor coordination into your plan of care whether it's to treat current issues or as a preventative measure.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Kinesiology from Kansas State University and continued her education at Rockhurst University where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She is certified in dry needling and has continued her education through Hermann and Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute.
Many events in Kenzie’s life have made her into the experienced clinician she is but nothing has prepared her more than becoming a mother recently. As a parent and working mom, she understands what it takes to make an effort in maintaining your own wellbeing in order to be the best version of ourselves. That’s why functional fitness is a passion of hers. She’s beyond thrilled to be a part of the Empowered Physical Therapy community.
When she’s not at work you can catch her on nightly walks with her husband, Trey and son, Malcolm, coaching fitness classes or scramming to get her book club book read for the month.
